Rock The Castle 2017 Event Information

Before You Arrive

  • Dress for the weather. This will be an outdoor event and it is likely that the temperature will drop considerably during the evening.  Watch the forecast and dress appropriately.  You will not be allowed to have umbrellas up during the performances as it will block peoples view.
  • Take note of the new entry procedures and prohibited items.  You'll notice from the details below that the prohibited items for Friday and Saturday are slightly different from Sunday.  Sunday is 'Picnic Style'.

Security Advice and Entry Procedure

  • Do not bring in any furniture.  This includes gazebos, tents, and BBQs.  This is a condition of our licence for this kind of event.  The reason for this is to ensure that we are able to evacuate the venue in 10 minutes in the event of an emergency.  You are welcome to bring in a blanket to sit on.
  • Only small bags allowed. Due to new security measures we have had to adopt recently we are now only allowing small bags.  So bags larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm will not be permitted.  Also please be aware that all bags will be searched by our security team and that if you are carrying a bag it will inevitably slow you down on entry.
  • Prepare to be searched on entry. Again, due to the new measures we have now put in place to improve safety, please be aware that everybody entering the venue will be body searched by a member of our security team.
